Okidoki, here's my piece and it's a rondo in ABACA form. 

The first thing I tried to capture was the serenity and beauty of the winter setting paying special attention to the snow and water. To me the music seems to describe the sensations a bird might experience as it flies low over the lake. The piece moves on to describe the lonesome quality of the island and the majesty of the mountains in the background. Then the music gets very intimate and bittersweet as if to reflect on everything  it has just described. Emotions swell and the music transitions gradually from being introspective to experiencing the lake firsthand again.
